Jackie Smith formally joins Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) today as Chair, in addition to her current role of Chair at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust. Jackie brings with her extensive knowledge of the NHS and other organisations across North Central London and will help us continue to develop our services.
We have recently updated our Trust’s privacy notices on how we use your information, which includes updated information about how we share information with our partnership agencies, including the Health Information Exchange and other initiatives. The 'your health records' section has also been updated to provide access to health records information for patients on access rights to their health records.
Known as Operation Cavell, the initiative will see a senior police officer review all reports of assaults and hate crime on NHS staff. The NHS, Metropolitan Police Service and Crown Prosecution Service have been working in partnership to launch the scheme, which aims to increase convictions and protect NHS staff on the frontline.
