Haringey Intensive Psychological Pathways

Support for adults

Life can be very difficult and stressful. Difficult and traumatic experiences can lead to people feeling understandably overwhelmed and struggling to cope. Emotional, psychological and relationship difficulties are very common and can leave people feeling stuck and unsure which way to turn. Some people find it okay talking to a professional about their difficulties and emotions, but a lot of people find it more anxiety-provoking and daunting.

Research shows that a range of therapeutic interventions can be helpful in treating most emotional difficulties. This includes different types of individual and group therapies as well as more intensive multidisciplinary support. This is what we specialise in.

In Haringey, we have a range of Psychological Pathways/Teams that provide specialist treatment programmes to support people with emotional difficulties, such as anxiety, depression, panic, OCD, PTSD, personality difficulties and body dysmorphia. Our Psychological Therapists come from a variety of disciplines, such as social work, nursing, medicine, psychology and occupational therapy, and all have specialist training.
