We are a national specialist eating disorders service based in north London. We provide specialist care and treatment to people aged 18 years and above with a primary diagnosis of an eating disorder such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder.

Who we are

Our Eating Disorders Service provides a comprehensive, specialist service to the North, Central and North East London sectors and surrounding counties of North Essex and South Essex. The service is also a national provider of specialist eating disorder inpatient treatment.

What we offer

Outpatient treatment: We offer a comprehensive outpatient service, offering assessment and treatment in patients with eating disorder symptoms. We operate as a large multidisciplinary team, including medical input, community liaison nursing, specialist dietetic input and psychology. For further information click here

Inpatient treatment: The Iris Ward is a 20 bedded acute inpatient unit for adult females and males and is located at Blossom Court in Tottenham.

Day programme: The Day Programme has five spaces and operates on Monday – Friday from 10am - 3.30pm.

Religious Fasting and Eating Disorders

Thursday 6 April - 10:30am - 11:30am

Please join the BEH St Ann’s Eating Disorders Team as we introduce ‘Religious Fasting and Eating Disorders – An Information Resource for Service Users and Healthcare Staff’, a project and resource developed to support eating disorder patients and staff in choices regarding religious fasting.

We will be discussing our service (who we are, what we offer, who we support), as well as the development of this project and launching of the leaflet. There will be opportunity for reflections, questions and discussions.
