Visiting

We welcome visitors at BEH, whether you are a friend, a relative or a carer.

Visiting a ward

Each ward has individual visiting times – you can find out more here. You can reach our hospitals by car or public transport, you can find out more about planning your journey here

Infection control

The infection control team and all staff are responsible for helping reduce and prevent the spread of infections, but everyone can help, including visitors.

Please help us and our vulnerable patients by washing your hands and using alcohol gel before entering and leaving the ward. And please do not visit if you are feeling unwell yourself, or discuss with one of the nurses if you are unsure.

Smokefree

All of our sites are now completely smokefree. This means that smoking is not permitted on any of our sites including all buildings, grounds and vehicles. More information is available here

Wifi

We provide a free wifi service that our patients and visitors can use in most parts of our main sites, Chase Farm Hospital and St Ann’s Hospital.

This service requires you to accept our terms and conditions to enable access. You can find out more information here.

Feedback

If you have time, please fill in one of the comment forms that you will find around the site, because we would like to hear what you think of BEH and what your visit was like. And if you have any questions about your relative’s or friend’s care please speak to a member of staff. If you would like to comment, give a compliment or make a complaint then you can find out more here.
