Thank you to everyone who joined our first virtual AGM on Tuesday 22 September 2020. We had over 120 attendees joining the event, including staff members, service users as well as stakeholders and partners.

The AGM was opened by Chair Mark Lam who outlined the agenda and introduced the speakers. Chief Executive, Jinjer Kandola then began with her overview of the year, including a summary of our response to the pandemic. Next, Amanda Pithouse, Chief Nurse and Director for Infection Prevention and Control gave the quality overview based on the Quality Account; followed by David Griffiths, Chief Finance and Investment Officer, who covered financial highlights, based on the Annual Accounts.

After this, Andrew Wright, Director of Planning and Partnerships and Sharon Thompson, Mobilisation Project Manager, outlined the redevelopment of the St Ann’s Hospital site in Haringey as well as and our aspirations for the rest of our estate, with reflections on Blossom Court – our brand-new, state-of-the-art inpatient facilities which opened last month. We also heard from a former service user, Lucy Harding, about what the new building means for patients.

Last but not least, Dr Mo Abedi, Clinical Director for Enfield Community Services, gave a summary of the Trust’s work around mental and physical health integration in Enfield and beyond.

If you haven’t managed to join the live event, you can now watch the recording on the link below. We have also collated the questions that came in during the AGM and have provided a summary of answers for these – see link below.
