Strengthening collaboration across providers in North Central London

Date: 24 February 2021

collaboration

Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH), is to partner with neighbouring mental health trust, Camden and Islington (C&I), to carry out a joint review of how we, as key providers, can maximise capacity and impact and improve, still further, the mental health care that we provide.

It’s expected that the review will start in April and will report back late summer. BEH CEO Jinjer Kandola will be the Chief Executive lead for the review and C&I’s Chair, Jackie Smith, will chair the review.

This project is a vital part of the NHS’s overarching, long-term plan for mental health. By strengthening still further the way our two trusts collaborate, we will have a much better chance of reducing variation and inequality in the care we give. We look forward to providing further updates on our website in the coming weeks and months.
