Do you know about the five evidence-based steps for taking care of your mental health?   

To mark World Mental Health Day on 10 October, our health and care partners in Enfield have created this short video with tips for looking after your mental health.  

As part of World Mental Health Day, we’re encouraging everyone to take care of their mental health by:  

  1. Being active: Take stairs over lifts; Walk or cycle to work; Go for a walk or swim 
  2. Connect with others: Use phone instead of email; Meet a friend in person; Join a social group 
  3. Learn: Read a new book; Research a topic; Sign up for a class 
  4. Give: Do a kind act every day; Help a neighbour in need; Volunteer 
  5. Be present: Walk in nature; Practise mindfulness; Gardening.
