Congratulations to Lola Akinyemi on being awarded the title of Queen's Nurse

Lola who works as a Locality Lead for District Nursing and is a proud District Nurse, was awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse from the Queen’s Nursing Institute 2021.

The title of Queen’s Nurse (QN) is an honorary one and is available to individual nurses who have demonstrated a high level of commitment to patient care and nursing practice.

Speaking of her award, Lola said: "I am extremely pleased that I have been awarded the prestigious title of Queen's Nurse. It gives me great pride that my many years of service, dedication and continued commitment to improving standards of care in the community have been recognised in such a wonderful manner. It is truly a great honour to hold the title of Queen's Nurse and to represent the Borough of Enfield." 

"I hope that my achievements will encourage and inspire others to work hard, always strive to improve, to reach their goals and to make a real difference within their service."

Helen Mehra, Head of Nursing and Integrated Pathways for Enfield Community Services (ECS) said, "We are very proud of Lola's achievement and we welcome Lola to join our team of five other Queen Nurses at Enfield Community Services".
