Communications team
The communications team is responsible for all external and internal communications for the Trust. We work closely with our partners, including local councils, other NHS organisations and community and voluntary groups, to make sure that information about mental and physical health services is accurate and helpful. We produce a number of publications including the annual report, quality account and the Trust Matters magazine.
We are always happy to speak to the media to promote the work of the Trust and regularly send out news releases about Trust events. We will respond to all reasonable media enquiries quickly. Journalists should always approach the communications team in the first instance, as we are best placed to find you the information you need as quickly as possible.
If you are working on a story and would like an interview or some clinical input, we can arrange this. We reserve the right to decline any requests which we feel would impact on the effective running of the Trust, or conflict with our duty to respect patient and staff confidentiality.
Please email beh-tr.communications@nhs.net or call one of the team directly with any enquiries.
