A Tottenham shirt and Chelsea shirt each signed by each team’s stars is up for grabs on eBay – with the money raised going to a local club for people with dementia.
Tottenham Hotspur FC and Chelsea FC donated shirts signed by their squads to honour the memory of Tom Harmer, who played for both clubs. He died of vascular dementia a decade ago and a collection at his funeral raised money to establish Tom’s Club, a support and activity group for people in Haringey living with dementia and their families.

Around 120 people attended a conference on Open Dialogue approaches to family therapy and support organised today by Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.
Open Dialogue in mental health services emphasizes listening and responding to the whole person rather than simply treating his or her symptoms. It also involves relatives and friends coming together in a social network to support the service user and take part in discussions with professionals.
