  • Appointment of new Chair

    Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) is pleased to confirm the appointment of Mark Lam as our new Chair. Mark will start in the role on 1 October, replacing Michael Fox, who has been the Trust Chairman for the last 10 years.
     
    Mark is an experienced Board Director and digital technologist, with a track record in both private and public sectors. He has recently retired from a career in technology and sits on the Boards of a number of organisations. He is committed to healthcare delivery and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. He is also a Trustee and Council Member of the University of Essex.

  • Somerset Villa is officially open

    28 September 2018

    This week we officially opened our Somerset Villa rehab ward at Chase Farm in Enfield . The new 13 bed unit offers assessment and treatment to those with a range of continuing complex mental health problems. 

    The specialist rehabilitation services will deliver effective rehabilitation and recovery to service users who cannot be met by less intensive mainstream adult mental health services. The ward will focus on the treatment and care of people with complex mental health problems and who are disabled and often distressed.
