Introducing our four new Non-Executive Board members
We are delighted to welcome four new members to the Trust Board: Dr Farah Jameel and Claud Williams join us as new Non Executive Directors (NEDs), and Sheetal Balani and Dr Ivan Beckley join us as Associate NEDs.

Community teams in Barnet and Haringey are being restructured as part of our £25 million, three-year Community Mental Health Transformation Programme.
Landmark mental health campaign with ‘Help!’ from The Beatles launched to support Londoners’ mental health
NHS England and NHS Improvement has launched a new campaign to encourage anyone experiencing feelings such as anxiety, depression, or other common mental health concerns to seek help through NHS Talking Therapies. Backed by some of the UK’s biggest artists, and using the iconic Beatles song ‘Help!’, the campaign will encourage people struggling with their mental health to seek support.

Innovative new roles now starting in partnership with GPs
Across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey 18 new members of staff are taking up exciting new roles in GPs surgeries where they will play an important role in our transformation of community mental health services.
We are changing the way we plan and deliver care
Nationally, there is an improvement drive that will see greater involvement from service users. In new guidance NHS England said every adult accessing community-based care should co-produce a holistic personalised care and support plan from 2022. They should also be provided with the name of a key worker they can contact if their needs change.

Our major transformation of community mental health services is continuing across north London, enabling people to be treated more holistically in the community.
New NHS shared corporate services hub for north central London goes live
North London Partners Shared Services (NLPSS) – a partnership between 10 north central London NHS trusts to deliver more efficient and effective corporate services – officially launched this month.
Free 24/7 urgent mental health support for young people
Young people and their families in need of urgent help with their mental health can get free 24/7 support from trained NHS professionals by telephone.
