Across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey 18 new members of staff are taking up exciting new roles in GPs surgeries where they will play an important role in our transformation of community mental health services.
We are changing the way we plan and deliver care
Nationally, there is an improvement drive that will see greater involvement from service users. In new guidance NHS England said every adult accessing community-based care should co-produce a holistic personalised care and support plan from 2022. They should also be provided with the name of a key worker they can contact if their needs change.

Relocation of clinical and corporate services at St Ann’s Hospital next week
Following the opening of our new mental health inpatient building, Blossom Court, at St Ann’s Hospital in Haringey in summer 2020, work has progressed on refurbishing the rest of the site which is being retained by the Trust.
Mebrak Ghebrehiwet, a nurse in the BEH Eating Disorders Service, wins the top prize in the Health Hero Awards
Mebrak, who qualified as a nurse just four years ago, was congratulated by the Prime Minister for her 'heroic' work in transforming care for patients with eating disorders. She was nominated by Daily Mail readers for her efforts to help patients during the pandemic.
