Who we are
We are a team of specialist physiotherapists who assess and provide management for patients that present with a wide range of musculoskeletal problems, helping them maximise their recovery and functional ability.
Musculoskeletal refers to the joints, muscles and tendons of the body. We treat conditions such as Arthritis, Low Back Pain, Tendonitis, Whiplash Associated Disorder and rehabilitation following broken bones or joint surgery to name but a few.
Where we work
We deliver our services from community bases in a variety of locality settings in Enfield and Hertfordshire. Our clinics are currently operating from Chase Farm Hospital, Moorfield's Road Health Centre, Eagle House Surgery and Cheshunt Community Hospital.
What we do
We provide the following range of services:
- 1:1 assessment, diagnosis and management
- Triage assessment to direct patients to the most appropriate clinical service.
- A wide range of treatment and therapeutic interventions
- Group exercise sessions
- Group education and advice sessions to enable self-management and promote healthy living
- Assessment for, and provision of, walking aids
- Telephone reviews and support
Who the service is for
Patients who may have had an injury, surgery or who have an underlying musculoskeletal problem which affects their ability to undertake everyday activities perhaps due to pain or loss of function. We work with patients to empower them to get the most benefit from our interventions and we provide individual programmes to promote recovery and early return to normal activities including work, home and social activities such as sport.
How you can access our service
We run a centralised referral system, accepting referrals from professionals in health, social services and the voluntary sector. Please complete the Physiotherapy Referral Form or write a letter, including all the relevant information and send to: Physiotherapy Department C7,SurgiCentre Building, Chase Farm Site, The Ridgeway, Enfield, EN2 8JL.

Our reception team on 020 8702 5320 will take your call and direct you to the most appropriate person to deal with your request. Out of hours messages can be left on voicemail, and calls will be returned the next working day .
Patients who feel they would benefit from this service should discuss this with their GP or other health care professional who will make a referral as appropriate. The service prioritises all referrals based on clinical criteria and a waiting list system is in operation. The Musculoskeletal service is part of the Enfield Community Adult Therapy Services which also includes the Community Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Adult Speech and Language Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics and the Community Stroke Rehabilitation service.
