Haringey assessment ward
Haringey ward is an acute in-patient assessment ward which provides support and treatment to enable individuals to be reintegrated into the community. The ward provides care for adults’ persons 18 years to 65 years living in the Borough of Haringey.

Who we are
This ward has 12 male beds and the team is made up of Doctors, Psychiatric Nurses, Social Workers, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Healthcare Assistants.
What we offer
Our team provide care and support to help patients become well enough to be discharged and where necessary receive care in their homes or in the community. Services include:
- Assessment and diagnosis
- An appropriate care plan and treatment
- A physical health check on admission
- Support to access advocacy services
- We also offer support for physical and social needs
- Occupational therapy
- Psychological therapy
When an inpatient is ready for discharge this will often be supported by the home treatment team for a period providing additional support whilst working alongside the care coordinator.
