The services is provided by a varied team including psychiatrists, psychologists, psychotherapists, psychological therapists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and associate mental health workers.

What we offer

The  Complex Care Teams provide out-patient psychological therapy, as well as comprehensive integrated care packages for patients with complex problems on CPA without a diagnosis of psychosis. We offer treatment through medication, psychological therapy and or support with day-to-day life. Treatments we offer include:

  • Individual Therapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT) and psychotherapy
  • If you need extra support and are under CPA, we offer care coordination to identify and support your psychological and social needs. You will be allocated a care coordinator who is a qualified community mental health nurse or social worker.
  • Specialist Treatment including Cognitive Behavioural therapy and group therapy for people with complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Group therapy ranging from 6-10 weekly sessions

Other elements of the service include support to facilitate appropriate access to social services care where needed, including community care assessments, and carer assessment and support.

Who is the service for?
