We're here to help - mental health support organisations

If you're feeling low, depressed or anxious and need someone to talk to, here you can find out more about mental health conditions and where you can get support.

Sometimes we're silent about our emotional stresses because we hope they'll just ‘sort themselves out' or because we're scared of telling someone about them. What you should know is:

  • Feeling down, depressed or anxious is very common - one in six of us will feel this way at some point in our lives
  • Visiting your GP is one of many options available if you need some confidential help and advice
  • The sooner you talk to someone and get the help and support you need, the sooner you'll feel better.

Find out more about different mental health conditions.
