What we offer

Attendance is dependent on need. For example, it can may be once a week, or five days a week.
Interventions provided include:

  • Medication review and monitoring of medication changes
  • Support with medication management where there are issues of non-compliance or unsafe use of medication
  • Group Therapy
  • Individual sessions
  • Wellbeing Interventions to support good mobility and appropriate nutrition
  • Support to engage with community resources to support recovery

The service aims to provide treatment without the need for ward admission. For those who are already on wards staff will work closely with the ward teams to facilitate early discharge.

People attending the Hawthorn Recovery Unit are subject to the Care Programme approach and therefore receive an allocated Care Coordinator.
