Research Partners

The Trust works with a number of other organisations in many of our research trials and projects.

North Central London Research Consortium (NoCLor)

The Trust research governance process is managed by NoCLor. The research consortium also offers advice for researchers on funding opportunities, costing and registration of research projects and runs training and development workshops.

National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)

National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) research studies currently active within the Trust cover quite a range of clinical areas, including new talking therapies for different mental health disorders, pharmaceutical solutions to acute psychiatric problems, as well as patient surveys of experiences within services.

North Thames Clinical Research Network (CRN)

The NIHR Clinical Research Network: North Thames helps to increase the opportunities for patients to take part in clinical research, ensures that studies are carried out efficiently, and supports the Government’s Strategy for UK Life Sciences by improving the environment for commercial contract clinical research in the NHS in the North Thames area.

UCL Partners

UCL Partners is a partnership between universities and healthcare providers in North London focusing on research, clinical services, education and training. The Partnership’s purpose is to ensure that innovations in medical research lead to direct clinical benefits for patients.
