Clinical Quality

Quality Assurance Audit

The Quality Assurance Audit (QA) project intended to provide an input into the Trust’s quality assurance programme, and is designed to assist with embedding quality at a local level. This project consists of over two hundred individually developed record keeping and patient care standards based on national standards and internal Trust targets, and developed in collaboration with clinicians within each service line, as well as patients and carer representatives. Each clinical service within our service lines has developed an individually tailored audit tool which is used within monthly clinical supervision to evaluate the quality of the patient record.
